BAM= Bilateral augmentation mammoplasty. 🍒

I placed, a silicone gel implant under the Pectoralis
major muscle 💪 of both the left and right breast to produce a natural teardrop shaped breast in this patient of Asian descent. Asians have a slightly higher chance of capsular contraction related to any number of issues including perhaps, increased propensity to bleed.
However, when managed correctly, the chances of such a complication are kept low.

What does a patient looks like 2 days after a Y-SMAS FACELIFT ?

The above is a pre-operative picture. See her remarkable transformation is my Y-SMAS facelift which is a sculptural muscle tightening facelift, blepharoplasty, rotational endoscopic browlift and Facial fat transfer.

There’s always that debate of East Coast versus West Coast plastic surgery. The demands of our patients are different but I always find it amusing when patients come to me after having had a face and neck lift by some famous plastic surgeon back east, complaining of residual neck banding and laxity. Though not DISsatisfied per se, she is UNsatisfied with what she considers to be an incomplete result but in the same breath, points out that people say she has a natural result (which, I concede, should supersede all else). However, it seems that patients who come to the West Coast expect a lot more - they want a countenance free of any laxity but wanting it to look natural at the same time. This can be a tall order for even the most skilled of surgeons. For these cases, I find I have to employ advanced techniques, sometimes more extensive ones in order to paradoxically achieve a very effective result that is long lasting and natural.
In this case, I performed my REBL Rotational endoscopic brow lift along with strategic facial fat transfer including to her eyes and a blepharoplasty. To remove her neck bands and loose skin, recreate that youthful sharp jawline and soften her nasolabial folds and enhance her cheeks with her own cheek tissue, I performed my Y-SMAS lift.DrHaworth.com

* Larger is harder*

Her breasts were very nice to begin with, however, she was very bothered by how uncomfortable her right implant it felt as it fell off the side of her chest into her armpit when she laid down.
She also wanted to go larger. So a pocket modification in the form of a reinforced capsulorraphy was in order. Performing pocket modifications such as these with larger implants pose challenges-notably, the new crease needs to be elevated and secured onto the ribs and utilizing a cellular, dermal matrix such as Strattice certainly provides valuable, added support
