Direct neck lift
Although not for everyone, when isolated neck laxity is a concern and a patient does not wish to consider a traditional facelift approach, a direct neck lift may be undertaken to directly excise excess skin from the neck.
In the appropriate patient, and when designed correctly, surgical scars are not conspicuous, and are less noticeable than the skin laxity of concern.

Pleased to see our patient following her rejuvenation surgery. Photos demonstrate upper eyelid hooding and a 'heavy' brow.
Following upper and brow reset, excess upper eyelid skin is removed and the brow is restored to a more youthful position. The upper face is rejuvenated while maintaining a natural, feminine aesthetic. Overall, the eyes appear more rested, alert, and youthful - reminiscent of her younger appearance.

Periorbital or eye-area rejuvenation can involve removal of excess upper eyelid skin (upper ), conservative removal of bulging fat pads from the lower eyelids, restoration of brow position, restoration of volume in the tear trough and/or upper cheek (using fat grafting). By diminishing the appearance of unfavorable shadowing and removal of excess skin, a more balanced, rested, alert and youthful appearance is a reasonable goal.
