1. The needles are incredibly thin.
Acupuncture needles are much smaller than medical needles, and many people are surprised by how gentle treatment feels.
2. You can arrive curious or unsure.
You do not need previous experience with acupuncture. Jeannie will explain the process and help you feel comfortable.
3. You do not need one specific concern.
Stress, low energy, restless sleep, tension, or simply feeling out of balance are all reasons people explore acupuncture.
4. Treatment considers more than one symptom.
Acupuncture takes a whole-person approach by looking at patterns throughout the body and supporting overall balance.
5. Relaxation is often an unexpected benefit.
Many first-time clients are surprised by how calm and restored they feel following their appointment.

Discover how acupuncture and integrative medicine can support your journey toward greater balance and natural wellness.

Leafy greens watch over eye health: Leafy greens like kale contain the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, which are critical nutrients in maintaining eye health and vision, particularly in reducing the risk of developing age-related macular degeneration and cataracts.

Leafy greens bolster liver health: A study published in the medical journal Lipids in Health and Disease found that eating more leafy greens improved the liver’s fatty acid profile, which researchers believe points to greens’ ability to help protect against cardiovascular disease.

Period pain may be common but it is not normal! So, what causes painful periods?

If we have ruled out infections, fibroids, cysts or endometriosis, common period pain is often caused by prostaglandins.

These chemical messengers signal contraction of the uterus, when causes cramping and pain. Underlying inflammation is often a trigger for these prostaglandins to be released in higher-than-ideal quantities.

Integrative medicine provides an individualized approach to identify the underlying reasons for painful periods, from inflammation, infections, adrenal dysfunction, nutrient deficiencies and other hormonal imbalances.

Asian Medicine recognizes fertility challenges as a sign that the body needs support, not pressure. Stress, hormonal shifts, digestion, and emotional well-being all play a role in reproductive health.

Through personalized acupuncture treatments and carefully selected herbal formulas, we help support blood flow, regulate cycles, and nourish the body’s vital energy. This gentle, whole-body approach creates a more receptive environment for conception and supports patients physically and emotionally throughout their fertility journey.

Yes — absolutely.

We work with your current treatment plan, not against it. Integrative Medicine helps support your body’s natural systems so you can often reduce reliance on medications safely (with your prescribing provider).

It’s about finding balance — not replacement.

Obsessive thinking, anxiety and distress are a few characteristics associated with neurosis.

Being neurotic is a personality trait and is associated more with being a worrier or an overthinker rather than a mental disorder.

Left untreated, neurosis can grow into bigger health concerns for you and your relationships.

This is because being neurotic takes a toll on your ability to function in everyday life.

Are you tired of sniffles and sneezing?

Acupuncture can help! In Integrative medicine, we look at allergies as a sign of imbalance in the body. Acupuncture works by calming the immune system, reducing inflammation, and supporting your body’s natural ability to respond to allergens.

Many patients experience fewer symptoms and better energy during allergy season with regular acupuncture sessions.
