For anyone who is crafty and can crochet, here is a nice simple pattern for a basic face mask! I also put in the fact that we should add a type of fabric inside, due to the fact that the yarn does give way for some separation...
If you have any issues with this or understanding it, let me know!
*Notes*
This pattern uses a 5mm hook
SC- single crochet
HDC- half double crochet
DC- double crochet
*Extra note: Mine doesn't have a fabric back yet, but I will update with a pic when I get that on!!!*
In these times, we're all nervous, anxious and even scared for ours and our loved ones' futures....the CDC has bo recommended people wear facemasks when going out in public for your essential needs. The reccomend and STRONGLY urge you to NOT wear or buy medical grade masks, so that we can save them for our medical personnel who are working SO hard to take care of the bomb of people they have flooding the hospitals and testing stations! They suggest items you might have at home or can easily be made. Scarves, handkerchiefs, bandanas...or these crochet masks (with a thin fabric layer inside of course!) Protect yourselves and others....stay in if you can, and stay safe!!!
