Parkinson’s Support Group Meeting

Join us tomorrow for the Sublette Shakers Parkinson’s Support Group meeting.

This group is a welcoming space for people living with Parkinson’s, caregivers, family members, and anyone who wants to learn more or connect with others in the community.

✨ Co-Owner Spotlight: Sarah Gardner ✨

Born and raised in Wyoming, Sarah has always loved the mountains, rivers, and wide-open spaces that make this home. In 2024, she partnered with Christen to open Elevation Therapy & Wellness, turning her passion for healing, movement, and community into a place she’s proud to call her own.

After earning her undergraduate degree at Gonzaga University, Sarah spent two years in Peru working with a nonprofit and became fluent in Spanish along the way. She then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah and has spent the past 9 years helping patients in a variety of settings, from neurologic rehab to outpatient sport clinics.

Sarah believes progress happens when people feel understood. She loves connecting with patients and her team, bringing joy, compassion, and positivity into every space she enters.

When she’s not in the clinic, she’s happiest:

❤️ Spending time with her husband, daughter Ava, and their pup Tucker
🏔️ Hiking, camping, and mountain biking
🎣 Fly fishing, wakeboarding
⛷️ Skiing: downhill and cross-country
✈️ Traveling, reading, and staying active

Sarah is grateful every day for her supportive community and the opportunity to do work she truly loves.

✨ Co-Owner Spotlight: Christen ✨

If you’ve been in our clinic, you know, Christen doesn’t just treat patients… she invests in people.

Born and raised in the mountains of Salida, she grew up understanding what it means to live an active, outdoor lifestyle. That passion led her to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University and she’s now been serving as a PT for 21 years. 🙌

In 2007, Christen and Mark made the move here (while 7 months pregnant! 💛). Since then, they’ve built not just a business, but a life raising Claire and Hudson in the same active, adventure-filled spirit they love.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her:
🏔️ Backpacking Wyoming
⛷️ Skiing & snowboarding
🎣 Boating & fishing
🏀 Cheering on her kids at their many sporting events
✈️ Traveling somewhere new

Fun facts:
• She climbed Fremont Peak in ONE day, start to finish 💪
• She lived in Ireland… and four years later got engaged there ☘️

Christen loves seeing patients regain strength and confidence, but what truly fuels her is the relationships built along the way.
