HEALTHY TIPS OF THE WEEK.
PROTEIN!
Protein is so important for the body. It helps build and repair body tissues; it regulates our hormones.
If you eat enough protein, it will help preserve muscle with age, curbs hunger and helps maintain a healthy weight.
Some ways to get protein in is drink smoothies and add protein powder to it.
But watch your sugar.
Read the label.
Another way is to eat a healthy protein bar.
Again, watch your sugar, and read the label.
The following are proteins:
(chicken, turkey) fish, meat...lean, seeds and nuts, dairy foods, eggs, soy, peanut butter, cottage cheese, beans, tuna, tofu, oatmeal, milk, Greek yogurt, mixed berries.
If you're watching your food intake, track your food.
Also, if you love peanut butter. Measure it.
Plus, if you cook. don't fry your food.
Air frying, I hear, is better for you. If you love seeds and nuts, measure them and try to eat them raw, unroasted, and unsalted, if possible.
Also, broiling, steaming, and baking, is way healthier than frying! Finally, if you buy your protein from the deli, buy lean meat.
These are just some ways to get your protein in every day and add healthy protein to your daily food intake.
One more thing. Movement is essential. Motion is Lotion!
