We offer specialized treatment programs for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injury as well as other injury and illness. Our rehabilitation programs are centered around the individual

needs of each patient to improve health, function and quality of life. Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities differ from other post-acute options most notably in the amount of therapy offered and medical oversight provided. We offer specialized therapy, rehab-trained nursing care, rehabilitation physician involvement and disease state management tailored to our patient population. Our patients receive at least 3 hours of therapy at least 5 days each week.

Last night, we had the privilege of celebrating 7 years of The Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana with the people who have made those years so meaningful—our patients and former patients, families, staff, physicians, partners and friends.

There were hugs, reunions, stories, dancing, laughter and so many reminders of why we do what we do.

To everyone who joined us—and everyone who has been part of our story over the past seven years—thank you. We are incredibly grateful for the trust you place in our team and proud to be part of this community.

Living with a brain injury can change so much—not only for the person who experienced it, but for family members and caregivers, too.

Today, we’re creating a place to connect, share and belong with others who understand the journey.

The group will meet every two weeks through October, with plans to continue monthly after that.

Meet Bonnie — our newest (and tiniest!) future member of the RHOM team!

Our new Medical Director, Dr. Daniel Musser, recently welcomed Bonnie, an 8-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog, to his family — and he already has a special role in mind for her.

Known for their gentle, affectionate, and people-loving nature, Bernese Mountain Dogs can make wonderful therapy dogs. Dr. Musser hopes to train Bonnie to one day bring comfort, encouragement, and plenty of tail wags to patients during their rehabilitation journey.

For now, Bonnie has lots of growing, socializing, and training ahead of her — but she already seems to have the making-people-smile part down!

Welcome, Bonnie! We can’t wait to watch you grow.
