Chinook Horses Changing Lives Through Equine Partnerships We are PATH International and EAGALA Certified. The facility includes a heated indoor, and multiple outside spaces.

Chinook Horses offers Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy, Equine Facilitated Learning, and Equine Assisted Activities & Learning. We can offer unique and individualized services based on our extensive training. We operate out of White Aspen Ranch which is conveniently located on the West End. We also have a variety of horse partners that have been evaluated for their suitability.

This week was National Nonprofit Day, and it got us thinking about just how much of the work that holds a community together is done by nonprofits.

It’s not always big or visible work.

Sometimes it’s a meal. A safe place. A ride. Someone who listens. An animal who needs care. A child who needs support. A family that needs somewhere to turn.

Behind each of those moments is usually a whole lot of people figuring out how to make it happen.

We know that work. We live it too.

So today, we’re simply grateful to be one nonprofit among so many doing their part to make our community a little stronger, kinder, and more connected.

Here’s to the nonprofits. The world would look very different without you. 💜

Every horse has a “sweet spot.”

Horses often groom one another around the withers, neck, and back. When a person finds a favorite scratching spot, a horse may stretch its neck, wiggle its lips, or lean closer.

The best part? The horse gets to tell us what feels good. We just have to pay attention. 💜
