✨ Resident Spotlight: Michael & Faye ✨

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Faye and Michael, a wonderful couple who enjoy experiencing life at The Blake together.

When asked what they love most about living at The Blake together, Faye shared that it’s the feeling of safety and knowing they are together at the end of each day. For her, The Blake feels more like home.

They both enjoy the people at The Blake and especially look forward to Wine Down Wednesday, which gives them a chance to relax, enjoy conversation with friends, and spend time together without worrying about missing an activity or dining.

When asked if they would recommend The Blake to other couples, Michael said, “Yes, it’s much more comfortable.” Faye agreed, sharing that it feels more like home than she expected and that the outings together help them feel independent and taken care of.

We’re so happy to have Faye and Michael as part of The Blake family and love seeing them enjoy all that our community has to offer together! ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to Country Gentleman Family Restaurant 🍽️ Good food, great conversation, and time spent together made for a lovely afternoon outside the community.

Our Signature Concert was a wonderful evening of live entertainment and community fun! 🎶 Guests and residents enjoyed music, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the event.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Victoria 🌟

Victoria is being recognized for her outstanding commitment to our residents and her dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care. As a Staff Nurse, she provides resident care, administers medications, and maintains thorough documentation while consistently advocating for those she serves.

Her favorite part of working at The Blake is engaging in meaningful conversations with residents, learning about their lives and experiences, and building supportive relationships with her fellow team members.

A few fun facts about Victoria:

🏡 She purchased her first home this year!
💪 She enjoys going to the gym and staying both physically and mentally fit.
✨ She is 22 years old.

Creativity blossomed during Art with Vanessa! 🌸🎨 Residents enjoyed painting beautiful flowers and adding their own creative touches to each piece. It was a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon filled with creativity!
