From when I use to work for Green Lake County EMS. I was the only one giving ambulance tours. After the Ambulance, hospital, and helicopter tours the teachers asked the kids what were their favorite parts. At first they were scared to come into the ambulance but while in the ambulance I let them ask questions and I answered them. I loved removing their fear and seeing them smile. They didn't want to leave the ambulance but the teachers and parents ( who chaperoned ) kept them moving from one tour to the next. I had the doors wide open so the teachers and parents who were standing outside looking in could ask questions too. If you click on the picture you can see more of the kid's responses.

PSA: This is the view outside my Birchwood Office. Normally it is clear and not hazy. The hazy is from the fires in the Ely MN area( about 3 1/2 hrs north). The smell of the smoke is really strong. If any of you know someone with preexisting respiratory issues, elderly, and those with tiny babies in northern Wi call and check on them. Don’t text them.Listen their voice if their voice is labored they might not be doing well. The smoke and humidity is not a good combination .

Did you know that the hands in my business image / logo are MY HANDS ! I had the same tattoo artist that has all the Green Bay Packer Players as his clients draw my logo. He also gave me my first tattoo! If you look at the tip of my left pointer finger , that is his signature. My idea, he brought it to life. So this image is authentically mine! The positioning of my hands shows offering care. The star of life represents my career in EMS . Serving communities on the Ambulance!

From a few EMS calls early on in my EMS career. There are times when EMTs need to stand back , let the Firefighters cut a vehicle away from a trapped patient, then we can step in to help them. With the red car, I’m inside the driver’s doorway. Another part of being an AEMT is doing paperwork on every call.
