2. Feeling guilty doesn’t mean the boundary is wrong.
Sometimes healthy change feels uncomfortable at first, especially if you’re used to putting others first.
3. Clear boundaries help relationships stay healthy.
They create clarity, reduce resentment, and help people know what you need.

But learning to sit with who you are with compassion instead of shame.

Some people struggle with resting because somewhere along the way, rest started to feel unsafe, unproductive, or “earned.”

So even when your body is exhausted, your mind says:

* “You should be doing more.”
* “You haven’t done enough yet.”
* “Other people handle more than this.”
* “Why are you tired?”

Rest is not a reward for burnout.
It’s part of being human.

Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is pause without needing to justify it.
