Today, we are proud to celebrate a major milestone in our mission to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare for all.
ARMS officially opened our new Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, expanding access to critical mental health and wellness services for individuals and families throughout our community. Located at 3200 27th Street North, Suite C in Birmingham, this new facility reflects our commitment to addressing the growing need for compassionate, whole-person care, especially for underserved populations.

Our Behavioral Health and Wellness Center offers individual and group therapy, case management, substance abuse support, medication management, and other services designed to support emotional, behavioral, and mental well-being.
At ARMS, we believe behavioral healthcare is essential healthcare. We are honored to continue breaking down barriers to care and creating a safe, welcoming space where healing, support, and hope can thrive.

We extend our sincere thanks to Commissioner Sheila Tyson, Congresswoman Terri Sewell’s team, Clinton Woods, Councilor LaTonya Tate, and all of the community leaders, partners, supporters, and residents who joined us for this special occasion.

National Donate Life Month is a time to recognize the heroes who say “yes” to organ, eye, and tissue donation, and the countless lives changed because of that decision. It’s a powerful reminder that one selfless choice can give hope, healing, and a second chance at life to those in need. Every donor leaves a lasting legacy, impacting families, communities, and future generations in ways words can’t fully express.

This past Saturday, the Birmingham community came together for the 3rd Annual Regional Wellness Day at the Birmingham CrossPlex—and what an incredible day it was.

Hundreds of individuals and families had access to free health screenings, wellness resources, and critical referrals for ongoing care. From breast, cervical, and prostate screenings to biometric checks and health education, the impact was meaningful and immediate.

Alabama Regional Medical Services was proud to stand alongside our partners—including UAB Medicine, Cooper Green Mercy Health, AIDS Alabama, and the Mike Slive Foundation—to help expand access to care across our community.

Events like this remind us that meeting people where they are and removing barriers to care truly makes a difference.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make this event a success.
