At a very early age, Aubrey Bushelon had a vision of owning and operating his own funeral home. As an aggressive, hardworking, goal – oriented teenager, he knew that the opportunity that he was given to work at Poole’s Funeral Home on the weekend would help him realize his vision. He received an insurmountable amount of knowledge and experience from his mentors, the late founding owner, James Pool

e, and his sons John and Ernest. They took Aubrey under their wings because of his gentle spirit and willingness to work and learn. Aubrey was employed at McKesson Robins Wholesale Drugs and retired after 25 years of service. He then concentrated on his vision, and established Bushelon Funeral Home in 1975. He reached out to many, and was known for helping bury those who needed his assistance monetarily. Aubrey’s compassion for humanity and life’s work was dedicated to funeral service. He passed along his affinity to be of service to those in need to his family. Today, the torch continues as the Bushelon Family continues to “Care For You & Your Loved Ones”.

This celebration is our way of saying thank you to the community that has supported and trusted us for five decades.

Grace Club CDC, in collaboration with Roosevelt City, East Brownville, and West Brownville, is excited to invite you to our 3rd Annual Back-to-School Community Resource Fair & Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Roosevelt City Recreation Center.

This community event is designed to support children, families, and seniors by providing valuable resources and services.

Highlights include:

🎒 Free backpacks and school supplies for school-aged children (while supplies last)

⚖️ Complimentary wills prepared by an experienced team of local attorneys for seniors, parents, grandparents, guardians, and Godparents
