Guess what yesterday was? 🐪

Hump Daaaaaaay.

And thanks to Hank, Sadie, Gigi, and Vet, our friends got over the hump in the cutest way possible. We aren’t kidding when we say this may have been the most GOAT-ed Animal Week yet. 🐐

✨ It’s finally here! ✨

We’re so excited to officially launch our new website and refreshed brand for Connected ABA Collaborative! 🎉

Founded by Connection. Powered by Collaboration. 💙

Our new website was designed not only to share more about who we are and the clinic-based ABA services we provide, but also to serve as a helpful resource hub for families navigating autism-related supports.

Families can visit our site to learn more about our child-centered, play-based ABA programs, find trusted providers who evaluate children for ASD, explore community resources, and connect with organizations that help support families with advocacy, financial resources, IEP navigation, and more.

Our goal is for this website to be a place families can turn to for guidance, connection, and support - whether they are just beginning their journey or looking for additional resources along the way.

We hope you love the new site as much as we do, and we can’t wait to continue growing, learning, and building meaningful connections with our families and community. 🫶

See you under the big top! 🎪

🎪 Buddy Big Top Carnival is here — our next Inclusive Playdate!

Step right up to a carnival experience intentionally designed so every child can participate — no exceptions, no asterisks.

Whether your child is joining the fun for the first time, uses adaptive equipment, prefers a quieter space, or just wants a joy-filled day outside — Buddy Big Top was built for them. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed with your child in mind.

📅 Saturday, May 9th | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Braelynn’s Way at Bessie Estell Park
🎢 FREE Entry

✨ What’s waiting at the carnival:

🎡 Inclusive carnival activities for all abilities
🍿 Food & drinks
📚 Parent Resource Fair
🤝 Buddy system matches that spark real friendship and connection across all abilities
♿ Adaptive accommodations — all abilities and all equipment welcome

This experience is designed for children with and without disabilities to come together — because inclusion isn’t just about access, it’s about connection. Every child plays a role in creating the kind of community we want to see.

For families who are used to wondering “Will this work for my child?” — this is a space where the answer is already yes.

We’re also looking for volunteers to help bring this experience to life — from supporting buddy groups to assisting with activities and event flow. If you’re interested in being part of what makes this day possible, we’d love to have you involved.

Visit thewildfloweralliance.org to learn more. We can’t wait to see you May 9th! 🎢

Come find us on Sunday! 👟

🚨 UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, the Birmingham Walk has been moved to Sunday, April 26! 💙

While our plans have shifted a day, our mission remains the same. Thank you for your patience and for standing with autism families across Alabama—we can’t wait to see you this Sunday to celebrate community, acceptance, and impact together!

Taking a moment today to celebrate our incredible clinic coordinators: Kelly, Grace-Ann, and Jamika.

They are the ones keeping everything running, holding it all together, and somehow making it look easy (we know better 😅). Whether they are untangling schedules, answering a hundred questions, or just keeping the rest of us sane, these three make our clinics a better place every single day.

We are so lucky to have you three. CABA wouldn’t be the same without you! 🤍

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to connect with the incredible team at Grace Klein Community.

There are so many people behind the scenes doing hard, meaningful work to take care of our community and it was such a pleasure getting to see that firsthand.

We’re big believers in collaboration—because when organizations come together, our communities are better for it.

This week reminded us how powerful pretend play really is. Our clinics are full of tiny professionals - dentists, vets, doctors, chefs, astronauts… you name it. Every day, they’re practicing the skills that will carry them into their next steps.

Functional pretend play is at the core of childhood development, and in ABA it becomes a space for language, independence, social learning, and problem-solving to bloom.

We can’t help but feel excited for the future. These are the chefs, doctors, and community leaders we’ll all be proud to know one day. 💙
