May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month ☀️

Melanoma is the most serious type of skin cancer, but knowing what to look for can save your life.

Melanoma may:
• Develop in an existing mole
• Appear as a new, dark spot that looks different from others

Watch for the ABCDEs:
• Asymmetry
• Border irregularity
• Color variation
• Diameter (larger than a pencil eraser)
• Evolving (changing over time)

Melanoma is at a higher risk of spreading, making early detection critical.

✨ When caught early, skin cancer is highly treatable. Know your skin. Check it monthly. See a board-certified dermatologist yearly.
