In our world of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics we are used to seeing hair in the mouth. Hair in the mouth means the free flap is healthy and doing well! This is the MOST hair ive ever seen intraorally. Literally needed a haircut and style. This was the result of a submental island flap which brings tissue from the chin/neck internally rotates and becomes the new intraoral tissue to replace what was resected. Obviously, this one is doing quite well! I shall let my surgeon friends correct me if I am wrong on anything ive said above!
