Extendicare had a fun and exciting week celebrating the backbone of our facility — our CNAs! Throughout the week, we enjoyed themed dress-up days, great food, and plenty of opportunities to recognize the hard work and dedication of our nursing assistants.

A special thank you to Gentiva Hospice and Piltcher’s Ambulance Service for generously providing lunch and helping make the celebration even more memorable.

We wrapped up the week by honoring Wendy Kidwell as our CNA of the Year, an award voted on by her fellow CNAs. Congratulations, Wendy, and thank you to all of our CNAs for the compassionate care and commitment you show every day. We appreciate everything you do!

Our CNAs are the heart of compassionate care—providing comfort, kindness, encouragement, and support while building meaningful relationships with those we serve. Their dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are honored to celebrate them this week!
