Today we welcome our incoming class of 51 residents to Baptist Health! We are so excited for the year to come!🥳

Today we had the opportunity to attend the Rededication Ceremony for the Princeton Healing Gardens!🌿

You may remember that the revitalization of these gardens was a project started by one of our Transitional Year residents last year. After a couple of workdays with residents and other GME staff, the project was turned over to the professionals to finish the job. It was wonderful to see the final product come to life!

Last night we wrapped up our 21st Annual Research Week with an awards reception! Congratulations to Dr. Ashlyn White (General Surgery PGY-4) for winning the Award for Excellence in Research and Dr. Nicole Stroud (Internal Medicine PGY-2) for winning the Award for Best Case Presentation! We are so proud of all of our residents and their hard work on these projects!

Over the last few days, several members of our GME and program leadership had the opportunity to attend the 2026 ACGME Annual Educational Conference in San Diego! The theme of this year’s meeting was “Meaning in Medicine” and remembering the importance of sustaining purpose and joy in the work we all do as members of the GME community. We are excited to come back and share all we learned!

Baptist Health’s Graduate Medical Education program would like to invite you to attend one of our “Virtual Recruiting Sessions”, in which we will share information about our four residency programs – Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Diagnostic Radiology and Transitional Year.

You have three opportunities to attend via Zoom. The sessions will include information from our Executive Director, Recruiter/Housestaff Coordinator and four Program Coordinators, along with current residents from each of the four residency programs.

The dates/times for the Zoom sessions are:
Thursday, August 21st, 6:30pm – 7:30pm CENTRAL Time
Thursday, August 28th, 6:30pm – 7:30pm CENTRAL Time
Thursday, September 4th, 6:30pm – 7:30pm CENTRAL Time
