Posterior tibial tendonitis is inflammation of the tendon that supports your foot’s arch and runs along the inside of your ankle and foot.

It’s mainly caused by overuse and repetitive strain (tiny tears over time), though it can also come from an acute injury like a twist or fall.

Don't ignore these symptoms. This acute condition can become chronic and may lead to tissue deterioration and tendon dysfunction. Call us today and see how one of our experts can help!

Ever wonder why your hand goes numb at night? 🤔

Dr. Bradly Goodman breaks down carpal tunnel syndrome, why it flares up while you sleep, and what treatment can look like. The good news? It’s one of the most treatable nerve conditions out there, especially when caught early.

At OrthoAlabama Spine & Sports, we’re proud to offer diagnosis, nerve testing, treatment, and therapy all with the same team, all under one roof.

☀️ Summer is meant for pool days, lake trips, and time on the water—but safety should always come first.

A few simple precautions can go a long way in helping you and your family stay safe this summer:

💦 Check water depth before diving.
🩴 Wear shoes with good traction around wet surfaces.
🚤 Use proper safety equipment during boating and water sports.
☀️ Stay hydrated and take breaks to avoid fatigue-related injuries.
👀 Keep a close eye on children in and around the water at all times.

A safe summer is a more enjoyable summer. If an injury does happen, our team is here to help you get back to doing what you love.
