What does the bowels have to do with pregnancy and postpartum? A lot! Pregnancy and postpartum are a time of big hormone fluctuations. This greatly impacts the gut. A happy gut=a happy nervous system. Eating is an act of self care to fill your cup. Remember to sit down to eat, chew your food, and take time to p**p. Especially postpartum. Tip: prepare or ask friends and family for easy to heat, nutritious frozen meals to fill your freezer prior to bringing baby home. **ping
