Take a moment for your mental wellness with this simple deep breathing exercise:

1. Find a quiet place and sit comfortably with your back straight.
2. Place one hand on your chest and the other on your belly.
3.Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of four, feeling your belly rise.
4. Hold your breath gently for a count of two.
5. Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of six, feeling your belly fall.
6. Pause briefly, then repeat for 3-5 cycles.

We are so excited to announce that we have added a new therapist to the Healthy Minds Therapy team, Tayler Towne LMSW! Welcome Tayler 🎉
Tayler is a Licensed Master Social Worker holding a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. Tayler has experience supporting clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, life transitions, as well as various other mental health concerns. She uses a compassionate and individualized approach tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Tayler utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and other techniques depending on the client’s needs and preferences. Tayler is passionate about helping clients build resilience, improve emotional wellness, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. She will begin seeing clients in early June, but do not wait as her schedule will fill up fast.
