We are excited to share that we have added another amazing provider to our talented occupational therapy team! She brings a wide range of knowledge and experience, and we are so happy to have Monica on our team!!
Originally from Garrison, ND, Monica received her Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Northland Technical College and went on to receive her bachelorβs degree in Early Childhood Education from Minot State University. She is a certified ADHA coach and has been working in pediatrics since 2009. Monica has extensive experience working with children with ADHD, sensory processing disorder, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, reflex integration, and a variety of other developmental delays. She is passionate about helping children reach their full potential, while supporting families along the way. She feels some of the most rewarding things about working with children are watching them gain new skills, overcoming challenges, and experiencing success in areas that may have felt difficult. She uses a child centered approach and focuses on each childβs unique strengths, needs, and goals while making therapy engaging and meaningful. When Monica isnβt supporting her patients, she enjoys traveling, time at the lake, music, crafts, spending time with family and friends, and going for walks with her dogs.
