Heat alert 🚨 😬
Unfortunately, our AC is out and there is a bit of a delay with it getting repaired.

We are attempting to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible in the afternoons with fans but we also understand this can create discomfort for some.

If you are a patient that has an appointment scheduled in the next week and would like to switch to telehealth, we would be glad to do so.

That’s why I decided to deepen my expertise in understanding the unique culture of sports and the mental health needs of athletes.

Blue Skies Counseling isn’t changing who we serve, just changing no how we serve them. I am so excited for what’s ahead. 💙

When working with our patients, we look at identifying reassurance-based statements and appropriate responses to make together.

Seeking reassurance is our attempt in seeking certainty. The more certainty we seek, the more anxiety we feel long-term (despite the band-aid in the moment).

Life is full of uncertainty. Once we start to accept the uncertainty, is when the healing begins. 💙

Summer tends to create a little more breathing room and surprisingly, for many people, it's the perfect time to start therapy before the busyness of fall arrives.

I currently have a few openings for children/teens (ages 10+) and adults and would love to welcome some new faces to Blue Skies Counseling.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, or just feeling stuck, therapy is a space where you don't have to have it all figured out. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build practical tools, and feel supported along the way.

I'm also really excited about a few new things I've been working on behind the scenes that I'll be sharing soon. 💙
