🎉 DOUBLE MILESTONE CELEBRATION 🎉🔥

Today we celebrate two incredible recovery milestones within the MHASL family 10 years of sobriety for our Program Supervisor, Justin Baker, and 9 years of sobriety for our Male Assistant Supervisor, Francis Old Rock as known as Big Man 👏

These milestones are a reminder that recovery is possible and that healing, growth, leadership, and purpose can come from even the hardest chapters of life.

Our Program Supervisor shared:

“Almost none of us liked the self-searching, the leveling of our pride, the confession of shortcomings which the process requires for its successful consummation... We have found much of heaven and we have been rocketed into a fourth dimension of existence of which we had not even dreamed.”— There is a Solution

Our Assistant Supervisor shared:

“The word, thought, & hope of ‘maybe’ saved my life. I secretly hoped that maybe I could get sober. We do this together. Any other way won’t work.”

Today, both men continue giving back through leadership, guidance, and service to others in recovery. Their journeys continue to inspire the people around them every single day.

Congratulations on 10 years and 9 years of recovery 💪Your dedication, strength, and willingness to help others does not go unnoticed.

From all of us at MHASL we are proud of you both. ❤️

🎉 2 YEARS SOBER 🎉🔥

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone 2 years of recovery for Darrell “Sonny” Brady👏

“Recovery has taught me to keep things simple. I wouldn’t have gotten this far in my program if I hadn’t set my overthinking aside. I learned to depend solely on my Higher Power, and because of my faith, I got through another 24 hours.

The thing that kept me going this past year was the fact that my life changed for the better because of what Alcoholics Anonymous so freely gave me: a new way of living. The new friends, blessings, love, and support I’ve found have instilled in me a desire to keep working my program.

My advice to the newcomer is this: nothing is impossible. Don’t let your past determine your future; just focus on getting through today. Peace is something that starts with you. Don’t let the outside static and noise block you from hearing the message. You are worthy of happiness.

I’m grateful for MHASL for giving me the opportunity to continue my work as a house manager and for allowing me to help my community.”

Two years is more than just time it represents commitment, growth, faith, and the willingness to keep moving forward one day at a time.

Over the past two years, we’ve watched Sonny continue to grow not only in recovery, but as a leader within the recovery community. Today, he serves as a House Manager at White Horse, helping guide and support others who are walking the same path he once started on himself.

His journey is a reminder that recovery creates opportunities for healing, purpose, leadership, and service to others.

At MHASL, we are grateful for the staff, fellowship, guests, alumni, sponsors, and recovery community who continue to help create an environment where people can rebuild their lives and discover a new way of living.

Sonny, congratulations on 2 years. We’re proud of the man you’ve become and the example you continue to set for others every day. 💪

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, bonus moms, and mother figures who continue to show strength, love, and resilience every single day. 💐

Motherhood is not easy and for many parents in recovery, the journey comes with rebuilding, healing, learning, and growing while still showing up for the people they love most.

Today we recognize the women who continue to fight for themselves, their families, and a better future. The late nights, the hard conversations, the sacrifices, the growth, and the unconditional love do not go unnoticed.

To the mothers in recovery:
Your past does not define you.
Your effort matters.
Your healing matters.
And your children get to witness strength in a way many people never understand.

We also want to recognize the single fathers out there carrying both roles with love, patience, and sacrifice. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to your children deserves to be seen and celebrated too. 💙

And to the mothers, fathers, sponsors, staff, and loved ones who continue to support and guide others through recovery thank you for helping create hope and healing within our community.

From all of us at MHASL, Happy Mother’s Day to everyone leading with love, strength, and compassion. 💛

🎉 1 YEAR SOBRIETY 🎉🔥
Yesterday, we celebrated an incredible milestone 1 year of sobriety for Steven Vasquez 👏

“A year ago I didn’t think I could live without drinking. I drank every day for years and felt like I needed alcohol to have fun, talk to people, or deal with life.
This year taught me a lot. It wasn’t easy, but I kept going. Now I’m healthier, I work out, I talk to people easier, and I actually keep my word.
If you’re just starting recovery, don’t give up. It gets better.
Grateful for everybody who helped me get here.”

Recovery is more than just putting substances down it’s learning how to live again, rebuilding confidence, and becoming the person you were always capable of being.
Over this past year, we’ve watched Steven continue to grow through consistency, accountability, and determination. Today, he has stepped into a new role as a House Manager, giving back to the same recovery community that helped him along the way.
The work behind recovery isn’t always seen, but milestones like this are proof that the hard days are worth pushing through. His journey is a reminder that recovery can lead to purpose, leadership, and a completely new way of life.
At MHASL, we’re grateful to be part of journeys like his where healing, growth, fellowship, and community come together to help people rebuild.
Thank you to the staff, leadership, guests, alumni, sponsors, and recovery fellowship who continue to help create a strong foundation for recovery and change.

Steven, we’re proud of you. One year is huge 💪Keep moving forward the best is still ahead.
create a space where healing and growth are possible.

Steven, this is your moment.
You’ve earned every bit of it.

One Year strong and still moving forward. 💪

Today we got to celebrate some of the hardworking women behind the scenes at the MHA Sober Living and Behavioral Health Supportive Housing programs. Congrats to our office manager Fawn Packineau and to our admin assistant Nicole McCarty on receiving some new educational hardware today.

These women work diligently every single day to ensure the doors stay open, the lights stay on, calls are answered, paperwork is completed, schedules are managed, and our programs remain fully staffed so our guests continue receiving the support, structure, and care they deserve. Much of what they do happens quietly in the background, but our programs would not function without them.

To say we are proud is an understatement. Thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the work you do for our guests, staff, and communities every single day.

Celebrating a Beautiful Chapter & Wishing You the Best Ahead ✨💛

As you step into this next chapter, we want to take a moment to recognize the impact you’ve made here at MHASL Sober Living.

Natalie Minafore, Segment Lead Lodge Manager, your time with us has been nothing short of meaningful.

“My time working in sober living at MHASL was more than just a job it was an opportunity to be part of real change in people’s lives. The 12-step foundation, combined with daily structure and support, creates a community where individuals can rebuild their lives with honesty, accountability, and hope. I had a front row seat to witness lives being transformed. I’m grateful to have been part of MHASL Sober Living.”

Your words reflect exactly what this work is about and the heart you brought into it every single day.

From your supervisor:
“Wishing you all the best as you step into this next chapter of your life! It’s truly been such a privilege to work alongside you and witness the kind of heart, strength, and dedication you carry. You’ve shown up in ways that matter consistently, selflessly, and with so much love for the people around you.

Your hard work and the energy you’ve poured into Sober Living has not gone unnoticed. You’ve made an impact that goes far beyond what can be measured through the lives you’ve touched, the encouragement you’ve given, and the example you’ve set. You’ve helped plant seeds of hope, healing, and growth that will continue long after this moment.

I truly believe God has something even bigger ahead for you. Watching your journey has been inspiring, and I feel grateful to have witnessed even a small part of it. You carry a light that people feel, and I know you’re going to continue making a difference wherever you go.

Thank you for your love, your dedication, and the way you’ve shown up for this community. You are so appreciated, and you will be deeply missed.

Good luck in your new role you deserve every bit of it and more 💛
Love you, friend 🤍”

Natalie, you’ve been more than an employee you’ve been a part of something bigger. The lives you’ve touched and the love you’ve poured into this community will not be forgotten.

Wishing you continued success, happiness, and purpose in everything ahead. You will always be part of the MHASL family

🎉SOBRIETY MILESTONE 🎉

Today, we recognize something powerful Two years of sobriety for Lottie Hosie.

“I never thought I would have came this far 2 years of a new life, coming into sober living not knowing what I was getting into but I seen people laughing and living life they looked happy and I wanted that so I took suggestions, got a sponsor, starting working the steps to the best of my ability and kept moving my feet even on days I didn’t know what I was doing, but kept moving forward, and I’m grateful and blessed for the life I get to live today!”

Recovery doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built in the small, consistent decisions to show up, be honest and choose to move forward even when it’s hard.

That’s exactly what Lottie has done.

From day one until now, Lottie has put in the work. Through challenges, growth and learning, she’s continued to push forward and stay committed to her recovery journey.

Over time, we’ve seen not just her sobriety but her transformation. Growth in accountability. Growth in leadership. Growth in the willingness to help others.

Today, Lottie serves as House Manager, continuing to give back and support others walking the same path.

Moments like this are a reminder that recovery is more than just staying sober it’s about building a life that once felt out of reach.

We also recognize the community behind the journey. Thank you to the staff, leadership, guests and alumni at MHASL who continue to create a space where healing and growth are possible.

Lottie, this is your moment!
You’ve earned every bit of it!

2 years strong and still moving forward. 💪

Happy 1 YEAR SOBRIETY 🎉🔥

“For my one year I surrendered my addiction with alcohol and drugs, found a new way of life, and dug myself out of that deep, dark hole I had myself in. I did the steps, took suggestions, started helping others, and became honest with myself.”

That’s not easy that’s REAL work.

We are proud of you, we celebrate you, and we’re cheering you on every step of the way 💪✨

Sometimes what feels like rock bottom becomes the strongest foundation a person can stand on.

Today we celebrate Vicki CrowsBreast on 1 year of sobriety 👏

Vicki came into the program as a guest, doing the hard work one day at a time. Over this past year, we’ve watched her grow not only in her recovery, but in her leadership, accountability, and willingness to help others. Today, she serves as a House Manager at Inaani, continuing to give back to the same community that helped her rebuild her life.

Her journey is a reminder that recovery is not just about getting sober it’s about finding purpose, becoming a leader, and helping the next woman walk the same path.

Thank you to the leadership and staff at MHASL, and to the fellowship of guests and alumni, for continuing to create the kind of community where women like Vicki can rise, rebuild, and step into leadership.

Vicki, we’re proud of you, sister.
One year down and the mission continues 💪
