After a C-section, most moms get one message:

"Don't lift anything heavier than your baby and come back in 6 weeks."

But recovery is so much more than waiting for time to pass.

Your body needs movement, strength, coordination, and a plan.

If you're dealing with lingering pain, weakness, leaking, pressure, or uncertainty about returning to exercise, know that those concerns deserve attention.

What do you wish someone had told you after your C-section?

Knee Pain Update...Spoiler the series is over.

My Knee has been feeling 99% Better, which I'm so happy about. I really only notice the pain if I skip my leg day for the week. Which I try not to do! I still do my Rehab to wake up my muscles prior to leg day but don't have to do them constantly throughout the week! Will I continue to strengthen these areas?!

ABSOLUTELY! I don't want this issue coming back. However, with proper warm up and progressive overload...targeting these areas I can keep up with it on my normal workout routine!!

You probably don't need more stretching!

You need more control.

If you've been stretching the same tight spot for months (or years) and it keeps coming back... the problem might not be flexibility.

Muscles often feel "tight" because they're:
➡️ Weak
➡️ Overworked
➡️ Compensating for another area
➡️ Lacking stability

Your body creates tension for a reason. Simply pulling on a muscle doesn't always solve the root cause.

A few examples:
🔹 Tight hamstrings? It could be weak glutes or poor core control.
🔹 Tight hip flexors? Your pelvis and core may need more support.
🔹 Tight neck and shoulders? You might need better upper back strength and posture endurance.

Stretching can absolutely feel good and has its place—but if you're constantly chasing tightness, it's time to ask why that area feels tight in the first place.

The goal isn't just to move more.
The goal is to move better.

If you're tired of temporary relief and want lasting results, let's figure out what's actually driving your pain and stiffness. 💪

🚨 Top 5 Horror Stories: Rehab Chiropractor Edition 🚨

1️⃣ "I didn't do my exercises."

2️⃣ "I've tried everything for my pain."
(Has never tried progressive rehab.)

3️⃣ "It feels better, so I stopped."

4️⃣ "I found a stretch online, so I switched all my exercises to that."

5️⃣ "I need this fixed by the weekend."

Recovery isn't about finding the perfect stretch, adjustment, or quick fix. It's about consistently doing the boring things that work.

Which one made you cringe the most? 👇😂

🚨 Back pain does NOT automatically mean you should skip back day.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is that pain means rest is the only answer. In reality, avoiding movement completely can sometimes make the problem worse.

The goal isn't to stop training...it's to train smarter.

For many people with back pain, the answer is:
✅ Modifying exercises
✅ Adjusting load and volume
✅ Improving movement mechanics
✅ Building strength gradually

Your spine is designed to move and adapt. When appropriate, progressive strength training can help improve resilience, confidence, and long-term function.

Pain is information, not always an indication of damage.

If back day is causing symptoms, don't immediately write it off. Lets figure out why it's happening and create a plan that keeps you moving while respecting your body's current capacity.

Movement is often part of the solution, not the problem!

Consistency beats timing. I get asked all the time whether rehab should happen before a workout, after a workout, or on separate days. The truth is that both approaches can be effective.

The goal isn't finding the perfect time. The goal is finding a system that helps you stay consistent while gradually building strength, mobility, and confidence.

Whats your favorite time to do your rehab?! Comment Below!
🔹 Rehab before workouts

Pain is your body’s alarm system—not the actual issue.
You can calm the alarm with rest, ice, meds, shots, or adjustments… but if the underlying dysfunction stays the same, the pain always comes back.

Our job is to figure out:
-What movement pattern is overloaded?
-What’s compensating?
-What’s not doing its job?

Once you address the real cause, the symptoms stop returning.

If you’re ready to stop putting out fires and fix the root,
