We were so grateful to partner with the Alzheimerโ€™s Association for our recent lunch n' learn at Benedictine Bismarck! Together, we explored the importance of keeping our brains healthy and learned simple, everyday ways we can support brain health at every stage of life.

Our lunch n' learns are a wonderful opportunity to connect, ask questions, learn something new, and discover resources that can support individuals and families. We would like to congratulate our Jeff Bahm Guardian Angel Recipient, Keven Wanner. We started this award in memory of a dear friend and coworker, Jeff Bahm.

He has been with Benedictine-Bismarck for over six years and those that know Keven, know that he is someone who cares deeply about everyone here. Keven is known for his unwavering dedication, reliability, and compassion toward everyone in our community. He truly embodies our Core Values through his welcoming, supportive, and caring demeanor, which is deeply appreciated by all those around him.

Keven consistently goes above and beyond to support our community. He generously volunteers his time every Sunday for Mass and makes himself readily available at a momentโ€™s notice to provide families, associates, and residents with additional support, comfort, and compassion. His willingness to serve others and his genuine care for those around him make a meaningful difference every day. Congratulations, Keven.

Recently, a family member of one of our past residents stopped by with a bouquet of her loved one's favorite-colored flowers. She asked if we would share them with residents who could use a little extra sunshine that day in honor of her.

Of course, we were honored to.

Moments like these remind us of the kind of community Benedictine Bismarck is. We're the kind of place where the relationships don't end when a loved one leaves our care. They're the kind that last. The kind where families feel comfortable stopping by just to say hello, share a memory, or brighten someone else's day.

We're the kind of community where familiar faces are always greeted with warm smiles, open hearts, and genuine hugs. The connections we build with our residents and their families become part of who we are, and it is a privilege to know each and every one of them.
