We offer exclusive flights for 2, shared rides for up to 5, "Bucket List" flights, and are now proudly offering flights and tethers for individuals with physical limitations and disabilities. We have Oklahoma's only Disabled Passenger Basket system that includes not only a door for entry/exit, but also a rally seat with restraint harness for a safe flight. We also offer tether rides for corporate
events, small groups or families, and individuals with special needs. Those with physical limitations can more easily enter and exit the balloon via the door in the side of the basket. The basket is equipped with a rally seat that has a restraint harness for the passenger. The seat sits low in the basket for transfer to/from a wheelchair, but once in flight the seat can be raised with a hydraulic pump to lift the passenger so they may more easily see over the high sides of the basket. The seat is lowered prior to landing for a more safe position. The seat can also be quickly removed when not required. All flights are dependent on the current weather conditions in the flight area. This means light winds, no storms within a 75-100 mile radius, and not immediately following a storm. In addition, flights can only be safely conducted in two small windows of opportunity each day. The first is right after sunrise, and the second is an hour or two before sunset. With those parameters, most flights are scheduled on weekends, but we can sometimes offer flights during the work week. Ballooning is not an 'individual' sport. We always need a ground crew of 3-5 people for our flights, and more for our tether operations. We welcome anyone interested in ballooning to join us as a crew member.
