Our first Exploring Vibrant Aging Amenities Tour was a great success!

Future residents joined us for a behind-the-scenes look at life at Givens Highland Farms, exploring amenities, learning about programs, and connecting with residents and team members across campus.

A huge thank you to our resident volunteers and team members who helped make the day so welcoming and memorable. From leading tours and sharing their experiences to helping guests navigate campus, this event was truly a team effort. We loved sharing the Givens Highland Farms experience with our guests!

Givens Communities is honored to support the Pardee Hospital Foundation as part of our commitment to building strong partnerships that benefit the communities we serve.
Recently, members of our team attended the Pardee Royale Gala, an inspiring evening celebrating philanthropy, community, and the importance of investing in the health and well-being of Western North Carolina.
As Givens continues to expand affordable housing and community services throughout the region, we value opportunities to collaborate with mission-aligned organizations that share our commitment to serving older adults and strengthening our communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Pardee Hospital Foundation and look forward to exploring ways we can work together to make a meaningful impact.

Our inaugural Women's Coffee, organized by the Social Connections Committee, was a wonderful success, bringing together a great turnout for a morning of fellowship, encouragement, and connection.☕💗

Residents enjoyed hearing from special guest speaker Lauronda Teeple, Executive Director of The Ministry of Hope, Swannanoa , who shared how the organization supports women incarcerated in our local women's prison. Her inspiring message highlighted the power of hope, compassion, and service.

The morning left many feeling encouraged and inspired to explore ways they can support this important ministry. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make our first Women's Coffee such a meaningful success.

We look forward to many more mornings of community and connection!

Oak Leaf Gifts, Givens Highland Farms' resident-run gift shop, is powered by dedicated volunteers and supported through donations from residents and team members.

The shop recently celebrated a festive Christmas in July Sale! 🎄☀️ From jewelry and household treasures to seasonal décor and unique finds, there's always something new to discover. Best of all, every purchase supports Life Enrichment programs and activities for GHF residents.

The beautiful Oak Leaf Gifts sign was handcrafted by residents in our Woodshop, reflecting the creativity and generosity found throughout our community.

💙 Recently, we gathered to celebrate some incredible milestones at Givens Highland Farms, honoring residents for the years they have called our community home and team members for their dedicated years of service.

We were especially proud to recognize several residents who have lived at GHF for 20+ years, helping shape the vibrant and welcoming community we enjoy today. We also celebrated team members reaching 3, 5, 15, and 20 years of service, reflecting the dedication and commitment that make GHF such a special place to live and work.

Each milestone represents meaningful connections, lasting friendships, and the people who make our community thrive.
