Filled with passion, commitment, collaboration, love and a whole lot of laughter.

Thank you to these three beautiful women who organically came together when our community was in need. Who generously gave their time, energy, and hearts to bring our amazing studio to life and who continue to serve our community one year later.

You may come to their classes. You may see them out and about in town. And you may not always see the many ways they quietly keep things moving behind the scenes at our beloved studio.

But we see you. We appreciate you. And we are forever grateful. 🙏🤍🧘‍♀️

We invite you to join us for Songs from the Heart: A Kirtan & Medicine Song Offering with Sister Smith and accompanying artists, Friday, August 28th at 6:30pm.

This is a guided devotional sound experience weaving together kirtan and medicine songs from various traditions. All music is led by the facilitators, with space for participants to join in singing, chanting, or to simply listen, rest, and receive.

We are honored to share this space as a place of renewal—where tradition meets the present moment, and voices gather in connection, devotion, and shared humanity. All are welcome. 🙏✨

Soak in the beauty of summer with Yoga on the Lawn at the Village of Cheshire. ⛰️🧘‍♀️

Surrounded by mountain air, green space, and community, these all-levels outdoor classes led by Jill Love Phoenix offer a chance to move, breathe, and reconnect beneath the open sky.

Bring your mat, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable outdoors. Meet by the lawn at the main entrance of the Village of Cheshire, in front of Sake Sushi. In the case of inclement weather, class will move inside to the studio.

Preregister through Mindbody using your Membership, Class Pack or Drop In pricing to reserve your spot. Classes are Saturday August 8 & 22 @ 8am!

We’d love for you to join us Sunday, August 9 for a Summer Refresh Mini Retreat! ☀️🧘‍♀️

This special mini retreat will offer participants a peaceful and supportive space to relax their bodies, calm their minds, and restore their energy.

The afternoon begins with a gentle, floor-based yoga practice led by Michelle Befus, inviting ease into the body and breath through slow, mindful movement. Jennifer Weston will then guide her signature Roll + Release workshop, in which you'll learn how to use Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls to practice self-massage, target areas of tension, and promote myofascial release.

The retreat concludes with an extended sound bath savasana, complete with 10 crystal singing bowls, as well as various chimes and gong. Leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and deeply nourished.

Kirtan is returning to Black Mountain on Friday, July 24!

Kirtan is an ancient practice from the Bhakti (devotional) yoga tradition of India, shared for thousands of years as a way to awaken the heart through sound.

This gathering, Songs from the Heart: A Kirtan & Medicine Song Offering, is a guided devotional sound experience weaving together kirtan and medicine songs from various traditions. Rooted in Bhakti chant, and expanded into broader expressions of heart-centered music, this is a space where sound becomes a pathway to presence, connection and the magic we can create when we all sing together.

Help us stock Swannanoa’s first 24-hour food pantry!

This month, we are excited to partner with Valley Hope Foundation for a community food drive benefiting the new Swannanoa Food Pantry.

Bring non-perishable food items to the studio between now and the end of the month to support neighbors facing food insecurity.

For every 5 non-perishable items you bring in, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a free workshop or class pack at the studio. The more you give, the more chances you have to win. 💛

Yoga on the Lawn this morning at the Village of Cheshire 🧘🏻‍♀️🌳☀️💗

What a beautiful way to start the weekend.

We were treated to birdsong, mountain air, perfect weather, and the company of an incredible community. There’s something special about gathering outdoors to move, breathe, and connect.

Thank you, , for leading such a thoughtful, grounding practice. We left feeling refreshed, centered, and ready for the weekend ahead.
