What an unforgettable Sunday at Pine View Terrace! Thanks to the incredible Nicole B., social worker with Black River Hospital and Jackson County Fair participant, a group of Horse Showmen rode their horses in showmanship style all the way from the fair to our front sidewalk to share the magic of horses with our residents. 🐴

Residents lined up their walkers and chairs along the sidewalk as the colorful parade circled by. Several horses stopped so residents could pet them and soak in every moment. There is nothing quite like the smell of a horse to bring back the warmest memories. ❤️

Thank you to Nicole and every rider who made this happen. It was truly one for the books! 🥰

With the recent wildfire smoke affecting air quality in our region, I want to update you on the precautions we have in place to keep all residents safe and comfortable.

Our team has activated our air quality protocols, which include keeping doors and windows closed as much as possible, using our building's air filtration systems, monitoring indoor air quality throughout the day, and adjusting resident activities to minimize exposure.

To support these efforts, we kindly ask that you help reduce door openings to maintain the healthiest environment possible for all.

The gardens at Pine View Terrace are thriving and we could not be more excited! 🌻💛

All that recent rain did its job; staff member Lexie is showing off the sunflowers that are now ready for transplant along the back of our parking lot. We cannot wait to enjoy all the flowers and vegetables this garden has in store for us this summer and fall. 🌱

And inside, the Game Club had the dice rolling in one corner of the dining room while our craft group painted sun catchers in the other. Joy all around at Pine View Terrace. 🎨

The garden is officially in bloom at Pine View Terrace! 🌸💛

Yesterday our Garden Club transferred their carefully nurtured flowers into the raised beds in our beautiful back courtyard — and it was a moment worth celebrating. A special shoutout to our resident Judy, a true guiding light and leader of our garden club, pictured here with our staff Garden Club leader Lexi. These two make a wonderful team. 🌿

We cannot wait to watch it all grow. 🪴
