Physician Health Thyself. How ironic is it???? I teach 24 years of neurology, orthopedics, physical medicine, advanced chiropractic techniques, if I had a dollar for every time I said to my students and my colleagues, lateral flexion 1st it's a must, the. rotation as this absolutely decreases the risk of injury to the vertebral artery resulting in stroke!!
So as most of you know I have had a change in personality since January 15th, and slurred speech and my nightmares for 4 month, which was the most difficult and trying time ever in my life. I was misdiagnosed by everyone, dismissed by the cardiologist which could have saved my life on February 18 th but was too busy seeing 59 patients a day she can't think straight. I handed her every red flags, seriously, I should have been admitted to the ER and hospital. then I got worse, now 3 strokes or mini strokes, TIA. I went to the Bridgeport Hospital as that was the admitting his for my cardiologist. well they were not any smarter than her. they also did not admit me and wuess what, it took me a few months to figure it out. But I did, no one else, except for Dr. Jim Lehman, as I ran I to him in Fever some time in February. He planted the seed!!! But I though wow that seems extreme. But he was correct. I HAVE BEEN WALKING AROUND with a Dissected Vertebral Artery,, left side !!! Describeing the right side slight ptidos, right arm contracture, And entire right side weakness and change in my vision and change in my entire life. I am lucky I am alive.
