At The Gables, our Life Enrichment Directors have started a new Ultimate Bingo Challenge—a fun way to intentionally seek out meaningful moments with our residents each day.

Each square on the bingo card represents an opportunity to create connection, laughter, kindness, or joy. Whether it's sharing a laugh, enjoying music together, trying something new, or simply sitting and listening, these everyday moments remind us that it's often the little things that mean the most.

Meet Rebekah, our The Gables of Shelley Memory Care Administrator, we asked her to give us some advice on how to make your day so fulfilled as a healthcare worker.

Advice: I (try to) always start my day listening to motivational speakers, soft music, or hymns to get me in the right headspace! I try to make sure that my day starts off in a good direction so I can carry that energy to my residents!
I never turn down a resident when they want to take a walk or go get a drink/treat. I love my moments where I can walk with them to the mailbox and just chat. Or when I can tell they need to get out for a moment and be “human” again. They help me go run to Broulim's for a quick errand- we go get them a coffee or Pepsi from a coffee hut or soda shop. Just take the time to make them feel valued even if there is a load of paperwork to get done ~ Rebekah💗

What a fun day at Smooches for Pooches at Gables of Blackfoot Assisted Living! 🐾💕

The joy these sweet four-legged friends brought into our community was truly priceless. From wagging tails to puppy kisses, our residents absolutely loved every minute.
