🔥 Poor Air Quality Alert 🔥
The smoke from wildfires is creating unhealthy air conditions across Southeast Idaho. Seniors, veterans, young children, and those with heart or lung conditions are especially vulnerable.
Here are a few simple ways to stay safe:
🏠 Keep windows and exterior doors closed.
🌬️ Run your air conditioner or an air purifier if available.
🧼 Check and replace dirty air filters.
❤️ Watch for increased shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, unusual fatigue, confusion, or low oxygen levels.
🚑 If breathing becomes difficult or symptoms become severe, seek medical attention immediately.
A little extra caution today can help prevent a medical emergency tomorrow. Please check in on your elderly family members, neighbors, and friends—they may need a little extra help during this smoky weather.
Stay safe, Southeast Idaho. We’re here for our community.
