In Addition to Sound Therapy, I am offering Nervous System/Light Touch Sensory/ASMR Technique appointments.
I continue to use precision neuromuscular, trigger point, and deep tissue massage techniques and many people find them very effective therapy.
But, these techniques aren't effective or appealing to all potential clients. Last week, when I sent out my email to you all and posted on Facebook about my new Sound Sanctuary Tuning Fork Therapy, I received queries about Nervous system regulation and Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) style massage. These techniques are gaining attention on social media and in larger cities these appointments are being offered at Salons and Spas. These gentle techniques in the hands of a seasoned massage therapist with extensive experience working with musculoskeletal structures could be a fantastic addition to a massage practice. Read on below where I will copy the appointment description to this letter. Please keep me in mind for referrals, especially your family, colleagues and friends that are afraid that massage has to hurt to be effective. It does not.
Thanks as always for your attention and patronage of my small business private practice.
30 minute $60, 1 hour $100, 1 hour 30 minute $125.
Nervous System/Light Touch Sensory/ASMR Technique
This session is geared toward the clients who want bodywork, but for whom deep tissue techniques are unwelcome or unpleasant. This appointment will be deeply relaxing, comforting, supportive and a real reset for the nervous system. Various techniques and tools will be used to help the client settle in, quiet racing thoughts and take a break from the outside world. There is a growing amount of social media content of Sensory and ASMR techniques blended with light touch massage therapy. These appointments are gaining popularity in the spa and salon profession and can be seamlessly adapted to a massage practice. If deep tissue and firm pressure massage (which I offer in my comprehensive service menu) is not your preferred style, give this supportive relaxing technique a try.
