ACPA x University of Buea: A Major Milestone!!

The president of ACPA met with Professor Halle Ekaney, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Buea, to officially present the ACPA Cancer Report.

Even more exciting — we have formally submitted all documents to begin the process for an MOU between ACPA and the University of Buea!

We’re excited to share a milestone for ACPA 🎉

Today, we had the honor of meeting with the Minister of Public Health and members of the Ministry’s cabinet to officially introduce ACPA and our mission to advance cancer prevention in the region.

During the meeting, we presented an executive report on our March 2026 Cancer Screening Program — a campaign that brought life-saving screenings to hundreds of people across our communities.

The response was incredibly positive. We’re encouraged by the Ministry’s interest in our work and their shared commitment to strengthening public health initiatives.

This is just the beginning. Thank you to every ACPA member whose dedication made this possible. Together, we’re turning awareness into action.
