Burial will follow in the New Home Cemetery.

A funeral service will be held Thursday (9/24/26) at 5:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Blackshear with Dr. Bill Young and Rev. Steve Timmer officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 4-5 p.m.

An additional visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, at the Sexton's House at the Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, in the Bulldog Haven section of the Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens with Rev. Jerry Varnado officiating.
