As a makeup artist and herbalist, I’ve developed a few opinions over the years… 😏

💄 Skincare matters more than makeup.
🌿 Makeup shouldn’t make your skin worse.
💄 “Clean beauty” means nothing without transparency.
🌿 Skin should still look like skin.
💄 Prep is the glow.
🌿 You don’t need 20 products—you need the right ones.
💄 Makeup should enhance, not mask.
🌿 Your ingredients matter.

I don’t believe you should have to choose between products that perform and products that align with your values.

HI 👋 I’m Shana — the face behind Untamed Garden.

For all the new faces around here, I thought it was time to reintroduce myself.

I’m a wife, homeschool mom of four, licensed cosmetologist, professional makeup artist, herbalist, and the woman handcrafting every product you’ll find here.

Untamed Garden was born because I was tired of choosing between products that were “natural” but didn’t perform, or products that performed but were loaded with ingredients I didn’t feel good about using every day.

So I set out to create something different.
