On May 15th, members of the Union County Fire Department assisted Union County Nursing Home and Union General Hospital staff with fire response training. Firefighters discussed the components of extinguishers, the different classes of extinguishers, the varied applications of each type, and the mnemonic "PASS" was discussed. Staff members were able to use fire extinguishers to put out a live fire in a controlled situation while under the supervision of firefighters.

We celebrated National Nursing Home Week last week! Our theme was the Union County Nursing Home Carnival and we had a lot of fun! 🎪🤹‍♀️

Wednesday - BIG CARNIVAL/FAIR DAY, food, games and prizes
