❤️ 10 years ago today, our Mikayla was given a second chance at life. ❤️

If you come into the clinic today and notice it looks like a party, there’s a very special reason! 🎉❤️💙

Today marks 10 years since Mikayla received her donor heart. Ten years ago, at the young age of 16, Mikayla received the ultimate gift of life because someone made the selfless decision to become an organ donor. 🫀

Because of that incredible act of love, Mikayla has been given 10 more years of birthdays, memories, laughter, love, and LIFE. 🥹❤️

Today, we celebrate her 10th Heartiversary and the beautiful gift she was given. We also remember and honor the donor and their family. Their decision created a legacy that continues to live on through Mikayla every single day.
