It was great to catch up with Mylo, the owner of Wells Hometown Drug in Bloomfield, and discuss the real challenges facing small-town pharmacies.

Last year, Mylo launched Iowa’s first pharmacist-led walk-in clinic, and two other pharmacies have already followed his lead.

Innovative small businesses like his are exactly what make rural Iowa such a special place.

As we celebrate Independence Day with our family and friends, Wells Hometown Drug will be closed at both our Bloomfield and Keosauqua locations for the 4th of July holiday.

We will resume our normal business hours on Monday, July 6.

Our new Keosauqua location has a one-way traffic pattern, so be sure to check out the graphic below before your first visit. Following the designated route will help everyone get in and out safely.

After all, we're pretty good at fixing what ails you... but dented bumpers are a little outside our scope of practice!
