If you're over 60, you've probably said at least one of these this week...
"I used to be able to do that."
"Getting out of the car is harder than it used to be."
"I have to hold onto something to put my pants on."
"I just feel stiff all the time."
Believe me... I understand.
After a knee replacement, back surgery, scoliosis, and years of chronic pain, I know what it's like to wonder if this is simply what aging feels like.
But here's what I've learned:
Growing older is inevitable. Growing stiffer doesn't have to be.
One habit I'd encourage you to start today is this:
Before you sit down tonight, spend just 5 minutes moving every joint you can—roll your shoulders, turn your neck, gently twist your back, march in place, stretch your calves, and take a short walk around the house.
Don't wait until you're in pain to move.
Movement is one of the best gifts you can give your future self.
That's also why I believe so strongly in a Stretch Zone membership.
Most people don't need one stretch. They need consistency.
Our members tell us they can get in and out of the car easier, walk longer, play with their grandkids, enjoy golf again, and simply move through everyday life with more confidence.
A membership isn't about adding another appointment to your calendar.
It's about investing in the body God entrusted to you so you can keep doing the things—and serving the people—you love for as long as possible.
If you're over 60, what's one thing you wish your body would let you do more easily?
