Building strong connections and a meaningful professional network is such an important part of giving our families the support they deserve. Paige and Camille have made it a priority to get out, meet others, and build relationships within our community. When providers and professionals come together, share resources, and support one another, we create a stronger network for the families we serve. Collaboration truly is one of the greatest gifts we can give our clients and families.

Thank you to our friends at Groves Learning Organization , Traverse Counseling & Consulting , PrairieCare , and Newport Healthcare for hosting another information-packed event.

We gathered with school counselors, therapists, tutors, psychiatrists, and other experts to learn skills for navigating parent-child dynamics. The best part? Connecting with more trusted providers we can point our families to after an evaluation.

It was great to see friends from , , and too. We're already looking forward to the next time we can collaborate and share! ✨

This is our current reality.

I will continue to share the importance of what is happening to autism services across Minnesota because our families, providers, and communities cannot afford to be ignored.

We need our representatives and state officials to listen, advocate, and take meaningful action.

The challenges highlighted in this WCCO story are affecting real children, families, and providers every day. We cannot continue without the support of those making these critical decisions, and we are incredibly grateful for the legislators, advocates, and community members who continue to stand beside us and fight for sustainable solutions.

Thank you to WCCO & CBS News Minnesota for helping bring awareness to this issue. Now is the time for action.

Providers say hundreds of people are in a tough spot because there's a severe backlog in autism treatment plan approvals in Minnesota.

What is happening with EIDBI providers right now is incredibly frustrating.

Last night, a news story came out addressing the growing backlog of treatment plans being held up in the review process through Acentra. This isn’t just an administrative issue or a number on a spreadsheet. Behind every delayed treatment plan is a provider continuing to show up, staff continuing to work, families waiting, and children who need these services.

We can and should expect accountability and oversight in our public programs. But when the system itself creates months-long delays, the providers delivering the services are the ones left absorbing the consequences.

I’m sharing this article because I think people need to understand what is happening behind the scenes and how these delays are impacting the organizations and families on the ground.

This cannot become the new normal.

There are fears that fraud investigation fallout could cause a lapse in care for Minnesotans with autism in the “Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention Program.”

A little sunshine, a lot of connection, and some great team development!

MBS was excited to send members of our supervising team out on the Young Professionals Boat Cruise offered through the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

What started as a fun evening on the water turned into a great opportunity to build connections with other local professionals, share ideas, and strengthen relationships within our own team.

We are working to find more opportunities for our leaders to step outside of their everyday roles, connect with our community, and invest in each other. And from the conversations we’ve heard about since…there were some pretty great connections made! 💙

Proud of this team and the way they continue to grow, not just as professionals, but together as a team.
