Mental health care should be accessible, understandable, and rooted in trust.

Recently, Dr. Floyd Robison and Beth Robison joined the Good Neighbor Podcast to share the story behind LPS Behavioral Health and discuss topics that matter to our community, including:

• making mental health care more accessible
• reducing the stigma around seeking support
• what TMS is, what treatment feels like, and common goals for care
• psychological assessments for children and adults
• ADHD and autism evaluations

Whether you're exploring therapy, assessments, or TMS, we believe that informed decisions start with honest conversations.

Thank you to Tim Surber and the Good Neighbor Podcast for the opportunity to share our mission and serve the communities we call home.

Stress doesn’t just affect the mind. It can affect sleep, energy, focus, patience, and overall well-being too.

Research exploring TMS for sleep and stress found that many participants reported:
• improved sleep quality
• reduced stress levels
• feeling less irritable
• improved sleep onset and maintenance

In this randomized sham-controlled study, 88% of participants reported improved sleep quality and reduced stress after treatment.

Because better sleep and lower stress can change daily life.

Curious what TMS therapy actually feels like?

One of the most common things we hear is:
“Does it hurt?” or “Will it feel strange?”

For most people, TMS feels like a light tapping sensation on the scalp during treatment, along with a rhythmic clicking sound from the machine.

Sessions are non-invasive, done in-office, and you can return to your normal day right after.

Most people adjust to treatment quickly, and our team is here to walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

TMS is often explored by people who feel stuck, even after trying other options.

It may be a good fit if you’re experiencing:
• Ongoing low mood
• Anxiety or racing thoughts
• Brain fog or trouble focusing
• Low motivation or energy

Many people consider TMS when medications haven’t worked well or have caused unwanted side effects.

It works differently by stimulating areas of the brain involved in mood regulation and cognitive function.

If this sounds familiar, it may be time to explore a different approach.
