June is Wound Healing Awareness Month! Monroe Hospital's Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine provides specialized care for patients with acute, chronic, and non-healing wounds.

Our integrated team of specialists has advanced training in wound care and uses a comprehensive approach for wounds that haven’t responded to standard medical treatment. The Wound Care Center is conveniently located across the street from the hospital and features dedicated exam and treatment rooms, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is an advanced treatment that delivers 100% oxygen in a pressurized chamber. By increasing the amount of oxygen carried in the bloodstream, HBOT can help stimulate the body's natural healing processes and support recovery.

If you have a wound that has not responded to conventional treatment, specialized wound care may help.
