Westminster Village Welcome to Westminster Village, Bloomington-Normal’s premier Continuing Care Retirement Community.

Founded in 1979, The Village is situated on a beautifully landscaped campus providing ample opportunities to enjoy the finest in retirement living. Westminster Village was built with the idea that retirement is meant to be enjoyed; not weighed down with the stresses of everyday life. With over 35 years of experience, The Village has perfected the art of carefree retirement living by managing day-to day tasks such as meals, housekeeping, home maintenance, and transportation to allow Residents more time for leisure. In addition, Westminster Village has the distinct privilege of being the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in Bloomington-Normal to provide Independent Living, Licensed Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing care all on the same campus. What an incredible milestone and a life worth celebrating!

4 children, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren — and COUNTLESS customers, employees, friends, and families whose lives have been touched by Emmy’s genuine care, kindness, and leadership over the years.

Alongside her late husband, David Steffen, Emmy helped build Dave’s Supermarket on a foundation of faith, family, hard work, and caring for others — values that remain at the heart of Dave’s today.

In the Grand Finale of last week's Chair Volleyball Tournament, the Spikin' Hots took on the Operations Team for the gold! Did it get loud in the Social Center? Yes. Did several reminders have to be issued by our 'officials' about staying seated in your chair during chair volleyball? Also yes. Did we celebrate with ice cream treats afterwards? Obviously!
