Fall is such a beautiful time of year in Minnesota! 🍂

The changing leaves and cooler days are a welcome reminder to slow down and enjoy the little things that make this season special.

We're looking forward to all that the rest of October brings at our Wealshire communities and hope everyone is enjoying the beauty of fall!

World Alzheimer’s Day 💜

Today, we recognize the individuals living with Alzheimer’s and the families who walk alongside them.

At Wealshire, we see every day that a diagnosis does not define a person. There are still moments of connection, laughter, comfort and joy to be found and shared.

To the families navigating Alzheimer’s, and to those caring for someone they love, we’re thinking of you today and every day.

Happy Grandparents Day! 💛

Today we celebrate the grandparents who have filled our lives with love, shared their stories and created memories that stay with us.

To all the grandparents at Wealshire and in our community, we hope you know just how special you are and how much you mean to the people who love you.

Today, we pause to remember those whose lives were lost on September 11, 2001, and the families and loved ones who carry their memory with them.

We also honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday people who stepped forward to help others in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

On Patriot Day, we remember the lives forever changed and reflect on the compassion and unity shown in the days that followed.

We will never forget.

This week, we had the opportunity to celebrate the incredible managers who help make The Wealshire such a special place! 💙

Our team spent the afternoon enjoying time outside on the water, sharing lots of laughs, and, of course, enjoying some delicious food from The Pork Chop Guys food truck!☀️

We are so grateful for the dedication, leadership, and heart our managers bring to The Wealshire every single day. Thank you for all that you do for our residents, families, and team members—your hard work and commitment make a meaningful difference each and every day!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating and showing our appreciation for this incredible group! 💙

Every week, music fills our neighborhoods with familiar songs and familiar smiles.
Some residents sing every word. Others simply close their eyes and enjoy listening. However they choose to participate, it's always special to watch music bring comfort and brighten the day.
It's one of the many moments that makes Wealshire feel like home.

The strength of our light outshone the darkness of Alzheimer's on The Longest Day. We honor all those living with dementia and their caregivers, for whom everyday is the Longest Day. We join together in the hope for a world without dementia. Although we cannot change the outcome, we can affect the journey. 💜
