We are proud to share that one of our nurses, Sarah, is turning her passion for families experiencing loss into something meaningful. In honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Month, she is raising funds for the Pregnancy Resource Center through a special t-shirt fundraiser.

🩷💙 October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month 🩷💙
At our birth center, we have the beautiful privilege of walking alongside families as they welcome new life. But we also know that some of the smallest lives leave behind the deepest heartache.
This month, our hearts are especially with the families whose arms are empty but whose love is immeasurable. We remember the babies whose lives were far too brief, the milestones that will never be, and the parents who carry their children in ways the world cannot always see.
To every family who has experienced loss, we hope you know that your baby's life has meaning, your story has a place, and your little one will never be forgotten.
Today, we hold space for both the joy of new life and the love that remains after loss. 🕯️

This amazing and humble woman just reached an incredible milestone—her attendance of her 400th birth!🤍

We were so fortunate that this special birth happened right here at The Birth Center, giving us the perfect opportunity to celebrate her and this remarkable accomplishment.

While she was surprised by our little celebration (and would have probably have preferred to quietly let the milestone pass😊), she graciously obliged us and let us make a fuss over her!

There Is No "Right" Way to Feel After Birth

Some people feel an immediate rush of connection after birth. For others, bonding happens slowly.

Some feel confident stepping into parenthood. Others feel completely overwhelmed.

Some love the newborn stage. Others simply get through it.

There isn't one "right" postpartum experience. You deserve a safe place to be honest about yours—and that's something we hope you always feel you have here.

Postpartum mental health struggles don't always look like sadness.

Sometimes they look like:
• Constantly worrying something will happen to your baby
• Feeling unable to relax, even when your baby is sleeping
• Racing thoughts
• Feeling "on edge"
• Unusual or excessive anger
• Checking on your baby over and over
• Feeling overwhelmed by decisions that normally wouldn't bother you

If anxiety is making it difficult to rest, function, or enjoy this season, please talk to us. We're here to listen, support you, and connect you with additional resources when needed.
