Susanna Frusti is a Family Nurse Practitioner who launched her career in healthcare as an emergency department RN in 2012 before taking her work abroad. Working internationally with an organization serving at-risk children, she ran community health and nutrition programs and educated local healthcare providers to carry the work forward. Along the way, pediatrics captured her heart, and caring for kids and their families remains one of her greatest joys. Back stateside, she earned her Nurse Practitioner degree in 2025 and was accepted to a Family Practice Fellowship at OSF. In the summer of 2026, she joined the team at Bloomington Primary Care.
Susanna practices holistically, drawing on her diverse healthcare and personal experience to meet patients where they are and ensure they walk away feeling heard. Women’s health is a particular passion—especially managing reproductive conditions like endometriosis and PCOS—and she is dedicated to giving those patients the excellent care they deserve.
Off the clock, Susanna is likely outside hiking, biking, elbow-deep in the garden, or working on a creative project. She also loves soaking up time with her family, friends, and church community.

We are excited to have Susanna on our team and look forward to the excellent care she will provide to our patients. Help us give her a warm Bloomington Primary Care welcome! 💙
