It’s a Sunday Success Story at The Waters of Bristol! 💙🎓

From the day Mr. Harold Cardwell arrived, he had one goal in mind: get stronger and get back home to his wife.

And he worked diligently toward that goal every single day—always with a smile on his face and a positive attitude that quickly made him a favorite among his therapy team.

Recently, all that hard work paid off. Mr. Cardwell officially “graduated” from therapy and headed home! Presenting him with his diploma and taking his graduation photo was one of those extra-special moments that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Leaving was bittersweet. He couldn’t wait to be back home with his wife, but saying goodbye to the therapy team he had grown so close to wasn’t easy.

Congratulations, Mr. Cardwell! We’re so proud of how far you’ve come, and even happier knowing you’re headed exactly where you wanted to be—home with the person you love.

This July, we’re celebrating independence in honor of America’s 250th birthday by sharing 250 Waters Success Stories! 🇺🇸✨

This week, we’re celebrating Eric Vencill and the extraordinary determination he showed throughout his recovery at The Waters of Bristol.

After being struck by a car while riding his motorcycle, Eric sustained life-threatening injuries that required an incredible amount of specialized care. At just 31 years old, he needed a rehabilitation team equipped to handle complex medical needs—and we were honored to be part of his journey.

Over the past eight months, Eric underwent multiple surgeries and procedures while dedicating himself to countless hours of therapy. With unwavering perseverance and the support of our compassionate nurses, CNAs, therapists, and entire care team, Eric achieved an incredible milestone and is now ready for the next chapter of his recovery.

While we’ll miss having Eric with us, we couldn’t be more proud to see him moving forward stronger than ever. His resilience, courage, and positive spirit have inspired everyone who had the privilege of caring for him.

Congratulations, Eric! Thank you for allowing us to be part of your recovery journey. We wish you continued healing, happiness, and many miles of adventure ahead. ❤️🤍💙
