Have you heard about STEPS to Stability? Through the utility assistance program, Hamilton County residents who meet age and income requirements may apply for up to a $500 credit to their Duke Energy account. Applications are open until Aug. 31. This LOCAL 12, WKRC-TV piece covers program details.

As prices climb for gas, groceries and utilities, seniors living on fixed incomes in Hamilton County can get help paying their Duke Energy bills.

📢 Clinton County FreshConnect - a pilot collaboration between the Clinton County Foundation, ENERGIZE Clinton County, Clinton County Farmers' Market and Council on Aging - is making available 40, $25-value free vouchers to Clinton County older adults to redeem at the market's Social Services Day, Saturday, Aug. 22, 8:30 a.m.-Noon.

To qualify, you must be a Clinton County resident and age 60 or older. Bring proof of age and residence to the Council on Aging table at the event to get your voucher, which must be redeemed at the market that day at participating vendors. 🍎🥬🍅🥕
